Just to let you know the dog has been reunited with her owner! Sadly in our area as in many now The RSPCA don’t unless there is a camera rolling.....hmm. Th lady who took her in last night, left my place with food for the dog at 10.30pm. We then contacted everyone we knew in area, ie betting office paper boys etc. This morning, I "Borrowed" a scanner, to see if dog chipped but no. Contacted the local Dog Warden who doesn’t start work till 1.30...sigh but left details with council. The Ladies who found "Sali" were waiting for me when I got to work this morning, (dog grooming studio) we settle sali for breakfast then the laides took her for a walk around the estate, hopibng someone would reccognise her. Then Her owner came in to the studio, asking if she was there, seems they were out looking for her till 4am this morning! I got him to describe her etc. and her secret marking, He’d contacted the dog warden and the warden had given our details. I called the ladies via phone and they called her by her name and she went mad! She went even madder when she saw her Dad! The owner returned sometime later with choc’s for the ladies, and has gone and seen the lad who rescued her from those nasty boys. So all worked out well in the end. thank goodness. the wardens charge ?25 per pickup, and then its ?60 per day for kennel fees....(RSPCA!!!) HAVING WORKED WITH DOGS NOW 40 YEARS (scuse shouting) The last thing I wanted was for the dog to end up out at the RSPCA, as they have habit of disapearing once out there (say no more!) We always tell poeple not to go on what the RSPCA say when they phone up to see if their dog is out there, we tell them to go and look for themselves, as 9 times out of 10 the dog IS out there! Ok enough moaning, got to get back to work. thanks for your assistance

- Poor little girl, I hope that the youths in question get some of their own medicine at some time. I hope that this girl gets home, if not gets a lovely home with lots of love.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
