- Message from Julie..... xx
Hello everybody.
Dave and I would like to thank everyone involved in the search for Peggy.
I could not believe it this morning when Dave got the call of where she was in Wigan. This would not have been possible without each and every one of you. Had Peggy not been shared on FB, then the lady with the info would not have seen and wouldn’t have contacted Dave.
So it is a big thanks to her, to you all for sharing and sharing and sharing and to the Dog Lost team, especially Claire Gresty, without her constant help, this would not have been possible to locate Peggy. Claire went above and beyond the call of duty. She was a constant support to me and Dave. You are an absolute Claire. Your passion, commitment and drive are second to none.
It has been a long 12 days. 12 days of
not knowing how Peggy was. 12 days of worry. 12 days of sleepless nights.
Dave has got his little shadow and best friend back. I am sure we will all sleep soundly tonight.
This just shows how powerful FB is. No matter what, everbody needs to share lost/missing/stolen dogs everywhere.
From the bottom of our - thank you
David & Julie & Peggy xxLast edited: 2019-08-28 22:02:08 - 2019-08-27 21:04 Millypod (Chris) - Administrative Volunteer

- UPDATE
Dave got a call from an unknown number this morning saying they were sure they knew where Peggy was (massive thank you to this person).
Dave immediately went to this house (in Wigan) and there she was in the garden!! He called her over and she jumped straight in his truck, she had no harness on and no collar.
The man then came out of the property claiming Peggy was his dog....... anyway to cut a long story short...... Dave took HIS dog back.
We are absolutely overwhelmed by the support of everyone... YOU all made this happen, sharing her posters, her videos, her appeals - we really cannot thank you all enough!!
Dave has taken Peggy to see her mum so photos will follow as soon as they have both finished kissing her - but we just wanted to let you know.
Looking forward to the WELCOME HOME PEGGY party!!!! Last edited: 2019-08-28 22:01:11 - 2019-08-27 10:41 Sharon - Social Media Volunteer

- URGENT - POSSIBLE SIGHTING
A dog matching Peggy’s description was seen running round at Adlington Common, Chorley about 30 mins ago. David is on his way there now. If you are in this area, or have family and friends this way, please share and look out for her. Got everything crossed she is safely home soon xxLast edited: 2019-08-27 13:31:07 - 2019-08-17 19:32 Susannah

- Might it be a good idea for Peggy's owners to contact the Bolton Evening News and ask if they would run a story on her being taken from the Pavillion? A reader might know someone with that model of car. I'll also share this on my local Harwood & Bradshaw FB group.
