- Update.. Charlie who went missing on 17th August in the Howdon area. Charlie is 9 yrs old, There was a possitive sighting of him on 17th in Hedley Gardens Howdon when a concerned female tried to put a leash on Charlie, however his collar was not on tight enough and he slipped out of it, the female in question was thoughtful enough to take a picture of Charlie and post it on Facbook. There have been several other unconfirmed sightings of him near to the Tyne Tunnel when members of staff tried to catch him as they were worried that he may cause an accident, he then headed off in the direction of East Howdon, towards the Northumbrian water plant. again this is unconfirmed as there was no description offered other than it was a Jack Russell. Further potential sightings were made near to the Royal Quays area close to the jetty area, when Charlie was approached he made off again heading North on Coble Dene near to the shopping Centre. This was Saturday 24th Aug around 20:00hrs. I have extensively searched the Royal Quays area with other family members over the past 48 hours. There have been no other sighting of Charlie since. I have checked with most Vets, the main Cat and Dog shelters, updated https://www.doglost.co.uk/dog-blog.php?dogId=147619 and also made contact with the Microchip company. If anyone can help by just be keeping an eye out for Charlie and possibly update via this sight or the web address above I would be greatful. Just to add, Charlie is unfamiliar with the area's outside of Wallsend.
