Owner: You need to go out EVERY DAY AT DAWN and listen to the bird calls - that is probably the only time you will hear your parrot as they all shut up all day in extreme heat/rain, etc. It is worthwhile. Poster everywhere and also see if local schools will let you poster there as children are more observant.
Your best chance is to get out there and get looking (by bicycle or foot - in a car you will hear nothing and go too fast). I wish you all the best of luck.
