A beagle, believed to be a stray, has been sighted in the Kingsley Way area of Helston. A feeding station has been set up in the hope of drawing the dog in, and there are 'troops on the ground' watching. If you are in that area, please be vigilant.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

It seems there is a young Beagle missing from near by hunt so unfortunatly may not be dear old Bob.... so the hunt continues to find Bob and of course the Hunts Beagle needs to be found now! Poor Penny it gave her hope and now probably it was not Bob after all that was sighted but we are ever hopeful, so please still keep looking for him.xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Dirty old beagle sighted at Goonhilly Down about 10 miles away. If any one can help with a search party please call Penny on 01736 763169.   I know not many of these places will mean anything to most people, but anyone who knows anyone in: St. Keverne, Coverack, Ruan Minor, Ruan Major, Traboe Cross, Newtown St. Martin, Manaccan, Helford, Gillan, Mawgan, Gweek, The Lizard or surrounding areas please get in touch with them and kindly ask them from me to keep a look out.
It may be a farm dog, or just maybe, it could be my BOB!!!!

No News, No sightings!
Unfortunatly area has overgrown mindshafts!
Unusual for Bob to leave owners side. Bob live's on owners small holding and has the run of the place but out of character for Bob not to be at home with his large family of other pets.
Bob would be scared of other people if approched as he is a rescue dog.
We need this old boy home as he is greatly missed by his owners and his dogy pals.

this is the post his owners have sent out :
Bob the Beagle, missing since 21st August at Balwest, Helston,
Cornwall. He is eleven years old and faded sandy in colour. Bob has a
heart murmur and has recently undergone major surgery for malignant
and benign tumours on his left side, he also has a right cherry eye.
Bob was mistreated for ten years before he was fostered and it has
taken a long time to get him to where he should have always been. He
is a wonderful dog and will be very scared. Most probably he will run
away from anyone who tries to get close. Please, please if you have
even the possibility of a sighting contact penny on
kensacuckoosnest@hotmail.co.uk
or telephone 01736 763169.I don't know how long he will last alone.

Emailed lots of advice and info?contacts to owner this morning, but too far away for me to join searching. Might be helpful under area to put Balwest, Nr Helston. Here's hoping Bob is found quickly. Very rural area with lots of scrub, so easy for him to be hidden.
