- So sorry that Herbie has gone missing. Thank you for registering him on Doglost. we will do all we can to help you find him. Owner, could you possibly log in again, and upload a photograph of Herbie onto this page in order that we can provide a poster for you. If not could you email one to admin@doglost.co.uk. Could you also leave a comment by clicking add a comment by the blue cross, also when you are logged in. We need more information of where exactly in Yarmouth your boy ran from. I don't think he will have gone too far, and will return to the place that he last saw you even if he doesn't know the area. Most dogs do manage to find their way back. He is quite likely to show first thing in morning when getting light and afternoon around his tea time. take some of his bedding, toys, and your dirty clothing and place around the area. make him a bed in a safe place and leave some smelly food such a sardines or tripe etc. If he circles back and picks up familiar scent, he will stick around that area. This is what you want. Once the photo is on site posters can be printed by loggingin, and then clicking on where it says Dog Poster 1 towards top left of page. You need to get probably hundreds of posters up around the area. Place them in clear plastic sleeves with the opening at the bottom. Get as many eyes looking for herbie as you possibly can. Be sure to inform the dog wardens, police, animal shelters, and all vets in the area in case he is handed in. Good luck with this and please keep us updated. Hopefully you will find him tomorrow. Stay safe Herbie xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
