Email from owner, so pleased to see this, gives hope to all the others. Thankyou for all your help.  Have some wonderful news.  Luna has come back.  Some travellers crashed their car when poaching and Luna was found on the back seat.  Because she was ear tattooed we have got her back and she is very well.  Thankyou for all your help and I will make sure we have lots of photos of her so you know in future if it happens again I wil contact you.  we have increased our security so hopefully we wont have too.    Thankyou so much for all your help.

There is no news on Luna.  Owners very young daughter distraught so now prepared to offer a reward.  Please watch out for this dog.

Also contact all vets in surounding area, leave tattoo detail with them in case she is taken in to any.

I have spoken to Luna's owners this evening, unfortunatly they do not have any photos of her and as she is mainly white / cream with distinct red markings we cannot use a simmilar photo. I have asked them to register with site, once this is done they can print off posters. These need to be put up  everywhere that coarsing is known to take place in the hope she becomes too hot to handle. Owner feels that she will not be any good at coarsing so hopefully she will be left somewhere and traced through her tattoo.

  Poster everywhere you can. Make her too hot to handle. Firstly inform the Dog warden (if this has not already been done), who you will be able to contact at your council offices. Posters (In plastic folders) need to be put up in the area where Luna went missing, or where there have been sightings, if any - on lamp posts, entrances to parks and strategic places in parks, like at the start and finish of tracks and paths, dog bins, at vets, pet shops, garages, pubs, carry-out food shops, post offices,  local shops who often allow postcards in the window, supermarkets who have notice boards, community centres, youth clubs, schools etc. You can ask the postman, milkman, taxi drivers, street cleaners, bin men (even put poster on bins), to take some flyers and hand them out on their rounds. You can ask school bus drivers and kids on the bus, or if you have kids on the bus, get them to hand out flyers at school.  Deliver flyers to houses, businesses & pop through letterboxes. Hand out flyers to people in the street, especially dog walkers. Put posters or flyers in car windows. Rescue centres and kennels, also police offices need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows the dog, because your dog or it's breed may not be recognised by other people. Get some media coverage if you can, by asking the local radio station to broadcast Luna as missing and put an ad in the local newspaper with a picture of her. If you think she may have been stolen, keep her profile high and OUT THERE. Make it difficult for the thieves to keep her or pass her on.  Good luck.
