From Alfie's Facebook page - not the news we would wish for - It is with great regret and sadness that I confirm on behalf of Sally and her family that they have found Alfie today but unfortunately he had gone to Rainbow Bridge.

Sally has asked me to thank each and every one of you for your help in searching for Alfie. It’s been a great support and comfort.

Over 30k shares so thank you so much xx

Sally does not wish to post further details as she is of course devastated and needs time to grieve.

Alfiesmum have you phoned all the vets.
I see on FB it says someone picked him up but never gave him in.
Is this just what you have heard please?

There is a found dog in Wimbledon Park on Facebook , have sent the photo to Alfie’s owner but they think the beard is not white enough for Alfie plus fur longer. The found dog does not seem to be chipped or chip not registered. Will keep an eye on it in case more info comes forward, 🐾 sharing again for Alfie today 🐾

ALFIE STILL MISSING - PLEASE HELP
MEET SAT 10am LANGHAM COMMUNITY CENTRE
Despite the best efforts of all of the amazing people helping to look for Alfie, he is still missing and it’s been nearly 5 days. We are extremely worried about him.
I would like to organise a ground search of the area on Saturday morning meeting at Langham Community Centre at 10.00am & we are asking as many people as possible to help. So if you’ve got an hour or 2 or all day free then please come & join us to try to find the little blighter.
Chris Riley and his fab dog Charlie will advise us & we’ll organise a route on the day based on any sightings we might get tomorrow. We’ll set off by 10.30am.
Please could you let us know whether you are able to help just so we know rough numbers. See you Saturday at 10.00, ready to leave at 10.30.
