I am delighted that Brandy has been returned. However, dogs should not be allowed to wander alone - as they can be killed or injured if they are not supervised - or they can cause injury or accidents - for the same reason.  If his recall is poor - then that can easily be worked-on.  Perhaps the guy that took him was concerned that he was being allowed to wander alone regularly? Walking with your dog is great fun - and now that Brandy is home you will get the chance for many more walks together!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I am really pleased that someone has asked what I was thinking. Why on earth would you allow one of the family members to wander off?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Why is Brandy allowed to just to wander off ??? Anything could happen to him, he could be stolen, run over, injured !!! He may not be so lucky as to come home next time.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Strange one here. Brandy wandered off as he normally does but always comes home. When owner was looking she was approached by a woman who said she knew who had her dog and gave her a mobile number but would not leave her details. Owner rang repeatedly leaving messages for the guy who called back at twenty to twelve last night saying he had done her a favour by picking up the dog from the motorway as he claimed. He said he had been working in the area and had the dog with him at home which he said was the other side of Birmingham-he said he would drop the dog off at the kennels-not saying which one. Owner has since learnt that the guy was told who the dog belonged to at the local waterworks where he was actualy picked up NOT on the motorway, yet he still took the dog.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
