- I'm so pleased that it's Libby, thrilled for both Libby and her owners. it's lovely when a possible match works out isn't it! She does look to have been well cared for in her absence which is a blessing. And well done to Mr Maughan, for caring for her since finding her straying and keeping her safe until her rightful owners could be traced.

- Fabulous news. Am elated for her owners, who must be ecstatic to have their girl back with them., Stay very close now Libby:-) xxx Joan. Give yourself a pat on the back. Assume stolen, and made "TOO HOT TO HANDLE"?

- Libby had been found wandering by a gentleman in Bishop Auckland. She was scanned at vets, but chip was not up to date. She was taken home & looked after & dog warden informed, whilst enqs were made. Initially it wasn't divulged the gender of the dog, but sharp eyed Joan matched her when I had registered her in the found section.
The owner is thrilled to have her back after such a long time & wishes to thank all those that made this possible. - 2019-09-09 20:26 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- Joan, I have left a message for owner of Libby. Awaiting recall

- Dog warden is aware as are local vets.
Owner registered on chip still not contactable.
Finder keeping hold of dog until owner found. - 2019-09-09 15:17 Joan
- Could this be missing LIBBY? DL ref 113868. Ear shape/ size looks quite similar. Last edited: 2019-09-09 15:22:43 by Joan

- I have spoken to finder who still has the dog. There is some confusion regarding the vets & chip info. I have spoken to vets who are going to ring me back when they have found out the details (was possibly chipped, but no info as to whether they have managed to contact owner etc). I have told finder re his legal obligation if chip not up to date (re informing dog warden). I will update when I have further info from vet.

- Number listed is that of finder mr Maughan. He went into a local shop to enquire if anyone knew owner & left his details.
So far he has not responded to text/voicemail with update, so it is not known where dog is.
