I've not heard whether Lucky has been collected or is remaining at MDH for adoption. Will follow up tomorrow x

Emailed response from MDH, "The dog in question came to us on 29th august. She will stay here for seven clear days. If the owners do not come she will go up for adoption." Owner is currently out of the area so will contact her tonight and see if a family member can look after her until she returns. I don't want her to get caught on the wrong side of the seven days rule. I'd take her but I've already got three and no room for another one unfortunately coz she was a little darling when we finally caught her!

Email sent to MDH today with a photo asking if they definitely have her. I believe we may have located the owner but not 100% certain as yet

When I go into her poster it states she's missing not found! Is that normal?

I have dropped an email over to Trafford Council. Still no news. Will stick some found posters up tonight around the shops and the local park and the general area she had me chasing her.

Still no news as Knoxy has not been working this weekend. I believe the Animal Warden was dealing with her - not Petmedics which is my mistake. I have reported her to the local vet and they have taken my details should anyone query her (and if she's registered with them). Need to get the chip number so vet can double check registration records. I'll hopefully be able to get a more in depth update later on today but I really hope she's ok as she was very scared

Knoxy has left me a voicemail saying she was chipped but they couldn't access the records last night as it was too late. Hopefully she'll be re-united. I just know she isn't at MDH at the minute as they've emailed me back. Will update ASAP once I know how she is x

Photo will be available shortly. Small cross breed tan female running down Glebelands Road area of Sale around 7pm yesterday. I believe she had been loose for quite some time but either nobody tried to catch her or gave up as she gave me quite the run around! Had to get a friend to come out and help. Finally tempted to settle down after a very kind man came out with some treats and bowls of water. Still wouldn't come close enough to take them from us or to secure her in his garden. Eventually someone I know of was walking his greyhounds and one is extremely friendly and the other quite timid. The friendly one jumped up and she starting barking and being protective and then finally sat close enough to my friend Nicola for a re-assuring cuddle two and a half hours later!! Reported to Dog Warden, Peggy Henderson's Society for Abandoned Animals. Knoxy kindly collected her from me last night and has informed me she will be taken to Manchester Dogs Home this morning. I will contact MDH and see how she's getting on. She was very scared and had a bad limp. Also very muddy (may have been rolling in something not nice as I could smell poo!) She had a collar on but no tag. I will put found posters up in the local area and hope I can help to re-unite her with her owner.
