- Indoor cats who escape will usually feel very anxious being out of their comfort zone which is in their own houses with people they trust; their owners. They tend to hide close by too. A door he has access too, open wide, and stand aside. Don`t block his entrance or he may run off again. Put some tuna or warn chicken and place it about twice the width of the open door. Place his UNWASHED blanket container along with your scent too. Post around the area,and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant where animals are concerned. He maybe having an adventure in someone`s garden, Check ALL outbuildings too. Paws xd.
