Stray picked up. Police have surrendered the dog into the care of the Vet.

An Garda Siochàna - Irish police- have recently seized 24 Dachshunds believed to be stolen. All dogs have been removed to Ashtown Pound.

I dont believe the pup that was abandoned is Cassius so sorry, as pup found is a short haired and is described as a choc and tan x

Please check out this little one that was dumped on a doorstep last night (see this lady's page)... I'm sure this furbaby will have been scanned but we all no that some chips fail xx

Dionne, re your post below...you mention Cassius has gone missing with other Dashunds...are they listed as missing or stolen anywhere? If you think he has been stolen have you asked neighbour's if anyone has any cctv for relevant day, any info about strange vehicle in your neighbourhood....if taken by someone on foot, any shops or garages (or local buses if near a bus route ) nearby which might have CCTV for the relevant day....I do hope he's found safe and sound soon.

Closer to home...is there any possible badger setts near or ditches/etc. Thermal camera, drones? Badgerwatch may be able to help - if that's a possibility? Rooting for this little lad x

Looking at the way he is standing, I'd assume he is shown? Apologies if I'm wrong.
Keep strong, and please keep the hope but let others help you as much as possible...ask friends to help you from the show world & others. If there are any upcoming shows take flyers around, may jog someone's memory. Leave flyers on benches, esp up top or hand out if not indoors. I'm sure (& would hope judges would be sympathetic).
Contact dog papers...you will know the one's I mean. Sorry if this has already been done.
I have shared to as many dachsie groups as I can remember and other groups...all paws and everything xd that you will soon be home Cassius and reunited with your family. Thoughts are with family and Cassius from one dachsie house to another. Please stay safe sweetheart until you are found x 🤞🙏

I am the owner of Cassius and he has gone missing along with a lot of other Dachshunds. So please if you see him bearing in mind he may have less coat now please contact me I am going out of my mind.

Sharing - we have many friends with long haired dachsies and to our dachsie groups incl LH ones ...all paws and everything xd, hoping Cassius will be found safe very soon...from one dachsie house to another Good Luck everyone who is helping to get this lovely boy back home safe x 🤞🙏❤

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (148313)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
• You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
• Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
