Diesel is lost in my area, will put posters out and keep eyes open when on my walks. Weather dreadful, come home soon Sweetie.xx

Parson Jack Russell Terrier is the actual name of the breed.  When the breed was finally recognised by various clubs, they decided on Jack Russell Terrier for the smaller, short-legged type and Parson Jack Russell Terrier for the taller, longer-legged type.  Previously, they had refused to recognise the breed because of the variations in size.  Gorgeous little things, whatever their size. What a little cutie he is.  I hope you find him soon.

Diesels actual breed is a "Parson Terrier" but I am happy to ammend the breed name to JRT if you think it will help me in finding him. Thanks. Shayne.

Thought maybe owner had picked wrong breed from the list.  Only reply got back was they did not have a landline.  Did ask about his breed but did not get the answer to this, will send another one and hopefully he replies with the right answer, I'll also ask for an update.  Jan x

Agreed he's a JRT - however, if owner has logged this themselves then because of the many variations of Terrier we have listed they may not have found it. Jan, have the owners got back to you yet?

Looking at Diesels photo I suspect he could be listed as a Jack Russell by the rescue centres so please try and get posters to all rescue kennels in the area or better still go and visit in person.

Contact no: Vale Royal Council 01606 862862 (out of hrs DW 01606 862862), have left details with the Council who pass details onto DW.  Bordering Council DW'S should also be contacted.  Jan x

Sorry to see Diesel is missing and thanks for putting his details on DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search for him.   You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible.  You can print posters by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information but will need to register and be logged in if you have Internet access.  Do please update us on  who has been contacted ie DW’s etc.  You can leave a comment by selecting    Add a comment   just above other comments,    Good luck and hope he is found soon.  Jan x
