- Hello all - I have just spoken to owners daughter who has searched and searched for Cassi. She was found yesterday, in the pouring rain, after another sighting - Cassi was seen in a garden but vanished again. Owners daughter went around the back and Cassi emerged behind some fencing near the front or a property - straight into her mums arms!! Loads of hugs and tears. Cassi was checked out by the vet yesterday and is fine, and is now catching up on her beauty sleep after 5 days living rough. Owner and her daughter send their thanks to all that helped in particular Diane (who was fantastic), local people who helped with sightings and of course the vets. Welcome back princess xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hello everyone I'm Kassi's owner and would like to thank everyone in helping me find my beautiful girl, she is fine and comfortable in her bed now. She has been checked by my vets and apart from sore pads she is in good health. The senting and posters is a MUST. We are now crying with joy and I keep looking at her thinking am I dreaming, is she really back home. My German Shepherd who has walked miles with me has now turned into a corgi. Her big legs and now little legs. My heart goes out the owners who are in the same situation but please dont give up. This story had a happy ending and I hope yours do to. Thank you all again. - Loads of sightings came in via the posters and eventually they were in the right place at the right time and she came out to the owner and licked her to death, many tears all round.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I am so sorry to hear that your sheltie is missing. Her details have been cross posted to the sheltie / collie forums and word is spreading. If she is sighted, please do not chase her - try to entice her towards you, with food ideally - if shelties are on the loose, they tend to go deaf and will run even further away- even from their owners. If any one can get close enough to her if sighted, bend down to her level and coax her and then try to get a hold and pick her up. I really hope there is good news soon. - I know how easily this breed can be spooked. I tend to work on a an anticpation basis when out walking and put back on the lead at the drop of a hat, but even then they can even slip their leads just as easily. Shelties tend to come back to the spot they went missing. Were it me I would camp out in the car but that's over the top me. You probably know no one must corner or the sheltie will panic. Very good there are sightings. Will let Sheltie Lady know as she has loads of contacts love Sylv xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
