Freddie is back to his normal cheeky self, he spent all his first day home sleeping. He lost all the fat he had on him before he went missing and he did very well in the Agility Training on thursday. he has a Competition at Newbury showground on Sat/Sun, i'm thinking about encloseing the showground with an electric fence LOL. he adopted the nick name "Energizer Bunny" because of the stamina he showd out running you lot Ha, ha.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Yes, It's Freddie, he walked into a ladys kitchin when she wasnt looking to grab something to eat, she heard his toenails clicking around on the stone floor and went to investigate. on seeing the lady, Freddie disapeard into the garden out of sight, where he went she didnt know, and she ran down the road to get my number off one of the posters to inform me of the sighting. I call Ray dedicoat (The Trapper) and like he has done all week at any time of day, he got in his van and whent straight round the ladys house. he got there and searched with the lady but couldent see a Sausage (in his own words) and just as he was about to leave, the ladys Cocker Spaniel gave the game away for Freddie by walking up to a small gap that led into an ajoining electrical substation and waggin his tail franticly. after being warned off by freddie sevral times, Ray managed to get a noose over Freddies head and he then came quietly. ray had to read the chip number out to me over the phone sevral times before i convinced my self that it was Freddie, i was estatic, we spent sevral hours at Ray and Anns kennells before comeing home in the early hours. I'll talk more about it later, but now i'm off to work there just aint enough hours in a day. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Eric and Family, I am so, so pleased that Freddy has been found! I was only able to go on search for him on one day as I have been away or at work. I have been checking the agility forum and this website desperate for news of him being found. Everybody has worked so well to find Freddy, and has been wonderful to know so many people care. Wishing you a very, very happy reunion and hope to meet Freddy in the flesh at an agility show soon, Love Lisa LockeLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have had 4 positive sightings of a dog fitting Freddies discription today around the Meadow Way area, he has been seen around there on a number of ocations but have fled from people when he relizes that they have noticed him, It's very important than you act normaly so that he dont click on that he's your target, if you have food, cough or something (dont call his name) to make him look towards you, and then drop the food and walk away from it. dont worry about calling me, just call Ray as soon as possible only if you have Freddie in sight on 07957131733, and again, that is only if you have him in sight, you can then call me after :-) there are many pictures of Freddie in my online albums site at http://community.webshots.com/user/jackrussells100 his album is "CrackerJack Freddie" thats his Kennell Club name for his Agility. You can also see pictures there of my other dogs, "Lady of the Valley" & "troublesome Tessa"Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have just spoken to Eric, without any disrespect he is asking people to continue the search but not in groups. Freddie is from a country background and is NOT used to people. Eric truly appreciates all the help and effort that people have put into tracking Freddie. He will be forever in your debt. But please Erics request is if you sight Freddie, please note location with landmarks and call Ray Deddicott on07957 181733. Also, please note that it is vitally important that the sighting is reported quickly, its no point calling Ray an hour after the sighting. THE LAST REPORTED SIGHTING WAS AT 7AM THIS MORNING CLOSE TO THE M42 SOUTH. Again NO search teams are requested.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

URGENT, if anyone has any sightings please note landmarks, as there are many fields in this area. Apparently there are house across from each field please take the house number if poss. Also DO NOT approach Freddie, DO NOT CALL HIM, just stay with him at a distance and keep him in your sights. If he is sighted near the railways lines, approach the railway lines and force the dog away from them DO NOT push him to towards the lines. As soon as you have the dog in your sights please call Ray Deddicot on 07957 181733 immediately with your location - he will come to you immediately. He is renouned for his work in catching and trapping dogs. He is in the area NOW.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Everyone, The local dog trapper called me tonight to tell me he had a call from a chap in Meadow Road who had seen freddie walking down his street this afternoon. if you go up the Alcester Road (A435)to the roundabout and turn right onto station road, it is the small houseing eastate on the left where he was seen. there is a bakery on that roundabout too that could be worth a visit from time to time if passing, i call there every evening. Once again, i would like to thank you all, there was so many of you out there tonight giveing up your time to help me and freddie.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Dear All I have just finished walking the block. I started at the footpath that ajoins the fields with Barkers lane. The local sheep farmer saw him in the fields heading towards barkers lane at about 1145 last night (How he did that in the dark Idont know. He was then seen in Barkers lane at approx 0001hrs. He was also seen in someones back garden in Barkers lane (hear say and I dont know which garden). They were unable to catch him. I know that people are looking for him, Dad went out this morning and bumped into someone else looking for him. We checked Birmingham Rugby Club(where the event was held) all the lanes leading to and from it I havent seen him but will walk Del tonight, he may just be snozing in the shade at the moment. I have been back to look for my Freddie again tonight and was told by one of the local rescue people that a Jack russell was sighted on "Tanners Green Lane" tanners Green. this is on the Northern side of the M42 so it sounds like he did get right over to the other side. The local rescue chap had Baited the area last night from where he run off, I when there to check tonight and the bait was un touched. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
