So  pleased she's gone back to her family.  When I mentioned to the husband about her he theatened to leave home if I had another Lurcher and probably the cat too - might have been a result! - the husband, not the cat.

No real explanation Sue, they said to the kennels her coat grows like a beardie's....don't know why that means it has to be shaved though?! Snowy has gone home with a new microchip and tag which is good news too!

This seems to happen a lot, I have noticed. Owners leave the dog with someone while they go on holiday and the dog gets lost. That is bad news, as kennels are the other option, which is not always desireable.Glad this girl is home now. Lucky she was found -this time.

Snowy has been claimed by her owners. They were away on holiday and someone was meant to be looking after her, not sure they did a great job!! Welcome home Snowy.

Thanks Angus- i have spoken to Louisa ( betsey's owner) and it is not her- as you said its the ears but also Louisa said straight away- saluki!Thanks for looking- one day it will be her!!

Have spoken to Ann....thanks Jayne. Ann is local to where the dog was found so is checking her records for any missing ones. We believe this girl definitely has Saluki in her.

Ann Blake from Saluki welfare has been given contact details and is looking into this. Several have mentioned it could be a shaved Saluki.

Completely agree with Maggies Mum, why do people do such things?  She's an absolute stunner,  will be checking this site daily... to see if she is re-claimed (or re-homed with Maggies Mum)!! x x

What a fantastic looking lady - why do people do this sort of thing to dogs, shaved her body - poor thing.  I would love to know what comes of this dog and if she's not reclaimed and goes up for rehoming I might be (very, very) interested.
