- Further update from Ruth:
"We’re back again 🤗. What a lovely vet Debbie was, highly recommend her. She was shocked at how blistered Doyle’s poor feet are and said he definitely needs more pain meds for to help with them. Says they will take at least 2-3 weeks to heal 😢. A thorough check up showed that apart from the need for more pain management there was definitely blood in his wee which at this point she believed is likely to be from bruising to the bladder or a possible UTI. Said he is not quite out of the woods yet, needs to do a pooh and monitor for any signs of problems with passing urine. He has had another pain killer injection, an anti-biotic injection and has some Tramdol tablets. She was very reassuring and I feel much more settled in myself that all is well. They sold raw food as well so Doyle has a nice turkey neck to munch on later. You are all so wonderful. Doyle and I feel very much loved and cared for xx" - 2019-09-21 14:39 GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland
- Latest update from Ruth:
"I wasn’t too concerned about Doyle this morning, he had a bit of a restless night which was to be expected. This morning he walked outside (was walking slightly better) and had a wee wee but I did have to carry him back down the slope. He settled back down but is very quiet and withdrawn with periods of whimpering (again not unexpected). However tried to take him out for another wee and it ain’t happening. He reluctantly walked outside but I had to carry him back into the hotel. I placed him on the bed and when he moved there was a small dog of brown blood. He then wanted to get on my sisters bed to have a cuddleI, I lifted him over to her and then noticed some tiny specks of brown blood where he had been lying. I checked under him and again there was some brown marks definitely from the willy area (For all you grown ups what talk proper that’s the ‘Penis’ 😬) so we have an appointment at 2:15 with ‘Glenbrae vets’ at Bearsden. Fingers crossed that it’s nothing serious (and also not to expensive this is turning out to be a very expensive holiday! 🙈)" - 2019-09-20 19:52 Jayne - Founder Doglost.

- From Ruth's own timeline:
"We are off the hill. I never want to see that hill again! Just waiting to be collected by the police so we can get him to the vet. Every time I carried him I pretend we were in a ‘race with your dog event’ 🙈🙈🤣🤣" - 2019-09-20 13:30 GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland
- Latest update from Find Doyle:
"Doyle as been found - latest from Find Doyle:
"Hi All, Unfortunately Doyle isn't too active and seems to have an injured leg. Ruth has been trying to get him to move but has sat down whilst we contacted the Police. They have been ever so helpful and are going to meet her as she's still on the path. She has to get to a point in the road where they can get a 4x4 to her. She will be safe now. Doyle has an appointment at the local vets this afternoon. Fingers crossed all is well x" - 2019-09-20 10:36 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
