- This can happen when a more dominant cat chases a LESS dominant cat out of it`s own territory. Usually the chased cat will return when they think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. However some cats will become lost, and disorientated. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children as they can be very observant, where animals are concerned. Post in shops; post offices too. Hand out as many posters as you can; where and when you can. Ask family, friends, and neigbours to share as well as DL. Twitter too
Post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper too At the time he ran off he may have sought refuge in someone`s garden (This is what they will usually do?) And has been taken in by someone thinking he is a stray. That would be my best guess Just because you can`t see a cat, it doesn`t mean they aren`t around. A cat posted as missing for THREE MONTHS was found only ten minutes from his home. When searching for Chili take with you an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. At the same time use the same deodorant that you use on a day to day basis as he will recognize the scent and your the one he trusts Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Paws xd. - 2019-09-22 12:25 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
