- New photo added with suggested search areas. The top area is a water company site with a security number on gate. They were happy for us to enter and track through - suggest anyone searching calls the number on gate too. Possible sleeping spot found in next field (next to fencing under brambles) and then track south. https://www.facebook.com/widgetsfarm/photos/pcb.2469311376630761/2469598159935416

- Can you get hold of anyone with a thermal camera?

- Spoken to owner and she is happy for me to share the following information. Sophie is deaf, blind, has dementia and cushings, and has gone missing from a location she does not know. With Sophie's illness she may not behave in the way we expect with a lost dog - such as following familiar scent. She may also be more active at night time and keep wandering rather than staying put. The family report she is very slow and she may get easily stuck in overgrowth. It is assumed that she escaped from the back of the garden and she may still be very close. - Now Sophie's listed, this is the advice already given "An intensive ground search needs to be carried out from her last known position. Assume that she's curled up on the ground. If caught up/trapped, dogs instinctively know that they are vulnerable and will remain silent even if their owner walks right by.
Thermal cameras (wildlife people/gamekeepers) and drones with thermal cameras, if possible, would be best to help search.
Contact @DroneSARForLostDogsUK. They will need you to have reported missing to dog warden and chip company. Give them your postcode and confirm who owner is as they only work direct."
