- From vets......This is NOT Jasper. It is with great sadness that we have to say we have had the remains of a little dog brought into us which had been washed up on the beach. We have scanned and x-rayed her (most likely female) there is no evidence of a Microchip and no sign of arthritis. No collar was visible, although one may have come off. She had most likely been in the water for a few months. She has a small terrier cross type head . There is a sparse amount of red and black fur remaining. She had very good teeth but quite long claws. We would put her and being young. Given that there have been quite a few dogs go missing lately we would appreciate if anyone could recollect any details and mention it to friends and family. Thank you. Not a good day in the life of a Vet .
