The feral ones are Indian ringnecks - mainly green - this one is unique in our area (we do, indeed, have hundreds of the Indian ones, nearly all living in Epping Forest or neighbouring garden trees to the forest.
Unknown
I would say it's one of the 100s of feral ones.

To add - I have searched the net and none of this species of parrot is listed as missing nationally but many people don't seem to think of publicising their lost birds enough. It was in very good condition and is undoubtedly someone's escaped pet. (Will probably do OK if it doesn't get recaptured as it is so like the feral parakeets that it is likely to be able to join them).
If anyone is looking in E4 - there are also currently 2 cockatiels and an African Grey also missing - these have been posted on "Spotted Chingford Facebook"a few weeks ago (I am not on FB). If anyone sees the Grey, please let me know as I have the owner's tel no.
