The staff let him out for a wee and he got out of a hole in their fence and is now missing. Pls pls pls share away, my parents are out looking but as you can imagine they are completely heartbroken and hysterical, the area is huge. We just pray someone has picked him up and he is safe. He did not have a collar on because he was due the operation so the vets took it off

- Update from owners' daughter:
It is with great sadness that I can confirm that the remains of Teddy have been found. He was taken to an independent vet and has been identified by his dental records. Teddy was going to the vets to have an operation on his teeth the day he went missing, so identification has been carried out using his dental records and they are a match. We had always prayed Teddy would eventually be found and returned home and although this is not how we would have liked it, at least he will be coming home to my parents. I would like to take this final opportunity to thank the amazing team lead by Vicki Hudson at The Missing Paw Team UK. The whole team have dedicated so much time in finding Teddy and they never gave up, even at the end Vicki looked after Teddy since finding him and took him to the vets this morning giving Teddy the dignity he deserved. I would also like to thank everyone on this group who has helped, searched and prayed for Teddy. We will never forget the amount of support we received and the kind messages from not only the UK but from followers around the world and it brought my mum and dad so much comfort. If anyone would like to donate to this amazing charity “The Missing Paw Team UK” in Teddy’s memory then pls do so, every penny helps and the generous time that these people give up to help the likes of myself and my parents is just unbelievable and it would be an amazing honor for Teddy if we can raise some funds to help other dogs who go missing so they can continue to do such amazing work. I know this is not the news any of us wanted to receive but at least we can now have some closure. Rest In Peace Teddy over the rainbow bridge and thank you for bringing so much joy to my parents who loved you so much, soon you will be back home where you belong.

- Editing my post as the UPDATE on POSTERS is that they can stay in place until the end of Nov when they will review the situation . They have posters up in their offices and I believe staff have been very helpful. Local MP stepped in and this has all been smoothed over - a breakdown in communication arose Last edited: 2019-10-30 14:51:47 by .

- we have been told by Bexley council that all of Teddys posters need to be removed from street furniture by 11th November of the person who telephone number is on them will be prosecuted. This is a family members number so we will have to comply and remove them

- Has anyone independent from the vet and the people involved who lost him, actually seen this little dog? The vet practice story changed which in itself is odd. The lack of transparency to the owners when they rang and the vets said the dog was fine but actually had already run away. Nothing adds up,
- 2019-10-17 07:39 Patlucky
- Anyone in the Sidcup area PLEASE look out for him.
Please please share Teddy is still missing.
Escaped from the vet when in there for surgery .
Thank you fingers crossed he is found safe. - 2019-10-14 07:28 .
