- Thank you janiejewel1649. Molly has had a new born calf named after her as it's her birthday. What a lovely thought. My Daisy can be a reminder to me of this poor Daisy although mine is a little cat xx
#stopthetheft it is a real shame Daisy's owners didn't step forward as poverty is no crime. Abandoning your dog when it most needs you should be though. Sad the owners couldn't have taken Daisy to a rescue rather than leaving her on her own frightened when she really needed love. I know the rescues are full to the brim but for a dog so clearly needing them I am sure most would have got out their elastic walls. I think sometimes people don't know what to do and panic thinking Daisy would get attention if she were picked up. Here's me again trying to find excuses :/ xx - 2019-11-13 11:58 #stoppettheft
- God Bless Daisy, Sleep Tight πππΎ
At least She knew Human Love & devotion in her final weeks,
Shame on Her Owners for not coming forward to at least explain their circumstances of how. perhaps. they were unable to afford to provide her vet treatment PDSA tho ?, & how she came to escape (abandoned?) πͺ
Poor Daisy RIP πͺLast edited: 2019-11-13 11:58:26 by #stoppettheft - 2019-11-13 06:59 Unknown

- So sorry that Daisy has passed to the bridge. Nightie. night. Daisy, sleep tight, and have fun with Judy (A very friendly Staffie girl) who is waiting to play. RIP+ God Bless x A~~~Candle~~~burns for you. Run free (HUG) X. I am sorry that a human let you down when you needed them most. You disgust me. And I hope you never find peace. Her so called owner should have a life ban on keeping any animals in my opinion. Remember Karma
Ravenette Sorry your lost your own dog in that way at 8 years old too. - 2019-11-12 19:54 Ravenette - Area Co-ordinator - West Sussex
- Such a sad update. Run free sweet girl. My Weimaraner had a heart attack due to the anaesthetic after a big op for bloat, he was only 8yrs old too.

- This is truly devastating news and has upset a lot of people who have been following DAISY’s story. This is a classic example of dogs being FOUND STRAYING with serious health issues and not being claimed.
So so sorry DAISY you have been let down by the human race you did not deserve it. Run Free over the Bridge and sweet dreams you are free of pain now sweetheart.
Thank you to everyone who tried to help her have a better life. Last edited: 2019-11-13 07:37:00 - 2019-11-12 17:42 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
- CROSS POSTED UPDATE by Merseyside Dogs Home:
You may recall Daisy Chain, who was found straying in Tuebrook on the 11th October, neglected with a tumor, estimated to be eight-year-old.
She was still suffering from her ordeal of being lost and abandoned, full of anxiety but needed an operation to remove the tumor, we took the decision to go ahead and it turned out to be the wrong decision.
The vet said that the operation became more complex than she originally thought, with a three hour operation. After the operation Daisy was placed into recovery but within ten minutes had a Cardiac Arrest. The vet said She and the veterinary nurse attempted resuscitation but could not help Daisy.
Staff are devastated, although we know of the risk alone from a general anesthetic, this is the first time many of us have known it to happen.
Rest in peace little one, we will meet again on Rainbows Bridge.......
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When a dog dies that has been especially close to someone here, that dog goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the dogs who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The dogs are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent. Her eager body quivers. Suddenly she begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, her legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your dog, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... - 2019-11-12 14:04 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West

DAISY was not claimed and has now gone up for REHOMING with MDH.
Wishing her good luck with her op, spay and finding her forever home. She was not claimed by her owners most probably due to the high cost of removing the large tumour which she had when found. Owners were given longer time to claim her before she was put up for REHOMING.
Sending DAISY big hugs and kisses. She is a little sweetie.
If anyone would like to give her a forever home please contact MDH and make a lot of people very happy.
Have added her REHOMING photo and shared MDH rehoming post on fb. - 2019-10-12 21:14 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
- Owners have made contact with the Wardens but have not claimed Daisy up to now.

- This is missing DAISY, friend of owner has posted a missing post on Scouse Pets 2 Facebook page. The AW link has been posted and owner is aware she is with the Wardens. I’ve added her photo. Fingers crossed she is back home soon, advice has been given re getting her chipped.
