Woooo Hooo FANTASTIC news, cannot thank you enough SELBY DW.  When I spoke to Oscars owners last night and asked who their DW would be and they said Selby told them "well you have got one of the best DW's around" and I knew Oscar would not be missing long.  Great he is now getting CHIPPED as also discussed with owner last night that this is a must when they get him back.  Give the lovely Oscar a big hug and cuddle from all on DL.  Well done to the motorist.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Wonderful to have oscar home.  We are very grateful to the Selby dogwarden and the lady motorist who notified the police.  The warden was very supportive and oscar was evidently in very safe hands with him.  we have learnt lessons from this experience and will not be relying on a tag with his information.  he is booked in for a microchip.  big thankyou to everyone who has helped and also for this wonderful website for offering all the support.   Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oscar was found yesterday by a motorist on the A64 (a busy dual carriageway in the area) and taken to Tadcaster police station where they kindly kept him until I could pick him up. He is now safe in kennels and so I will wait for the owner to contact me so that I can take him home. Oscar is a really nice obedient dog and fortunately he wasn't injured on the road. Our thanks should go to the motorist who stopped on a busy road to help the dog. BillLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have spoken to owner’s son to update missing details.  Oscar has gone missing while on a walk not far from home, has done this before but has returned, son will upload a photo a.s.a.p.  Sorry to see Oscar is missing, thanks for registering and putting his details on DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search for him.   You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible.  Once a photo has been uploaded you can print posters by selecting Dog Poster 1  just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).  Do update us on who has been contacted ie DW’s etc.  You can leave a comment by selecting Add a comment  just above other comments,  Good luck and hope he is found soon.  Jan Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
