- Oh how sad. My thoughts are with Owlie`s owners who must be distraught. I was so hoping for a nicer outcome. What happened? Was it lack of food s Owlie was tame?
Owlie looked so cute. Nightie, night, sweet Owlie sleep tight, and have lot of flying high play with your new feathered friends at "Rainbow bridge" RIP+ God Bless x Fly free sweet Owlie (HUG) X - 2019-11-10 21:56 .

- Very sad news (taken from Facebook).
Owlie has been found, sadly not the outcome any of us were praying for. Fly free handsome little man xx - 2019-10-27 17:04 julie
- Hi Guys, I'm not sure if I can answer individual messages on here! So I'll do a general one. I'm a volunteer with Phoenix Bird of Prey Rescue and we have all our volunteers and associated organisations on-board. The vets have been notified. We have falconers and volunteers out in the fields today with the dogs. Posters are out, and I think we have about 900 views and several hundred shares across social media - that we know of. We've been in touch with our friend, the head falconer at Suffolk Owl Sanctuary. Owlie is wearing an IBR registered ring, which has a unique number, and any rescue or rehabbers will know who to contact. Meanwhile thank you all for your suggestions and support. Julie

- Have the owl sanctuary at Stonham Aspall been made aware? I know it's near Eye as used do training courses there but if my memory serves me right it's en route Bungay way? Long shot but you never know - if Owlie may end up that direction? Or would that be too far for Owlie to travel distance wise?
Good Luck and hope found safe soon 🤞🙏 xLast edited: 2019-10-27 12:30:12 by Carolynl - 2019-10-27 11:47 julie

- Has the owner checked trees, and tempted the Owlie with food? I believe they can perch very high in trees. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. ?check any Owl trusts too. Hand out as many posters as you can; where and when you can. Claws xd.
