Thank you kushka- she was sighted on side of A27 before Hove turn off around 8 am today. Looking around that area.

I went to have a look this morning as it was getting light before it got busy with my timid ex street dog and stinky food. Unfortunately no sign of her, and a pile of domestic rubbish that was dumped last night had not been damaged. I was told yesterday that Daisy had been a street dog so I'm wondering if maybe because she tried to cross the road to town yesterday she may have succeeded last night when it was quiet. There's an access path for road maintenance which I'm guessing she used yesterday. Could posters in the estate now be a good idea? I drove round but didn't see anything. I'm real busy today and can't get out with any.

Daisy’s owner here: Thank you for all your help everyone.
She was spotted at midday today not far from where she went missing. She ran off again but we are hopeful now we know she has stayed around there and not gone further afield.
We are still looking.
