Hi for everyone concerned for this lovely boy - I'm his new Mum and have called him Jimmy. He arrived at his new home yesterday and is currently snuggled up in his new bed

You’d be right to as well Karen. 💔 it’s a death sentence for those they can’t sell easily or the management don’t like.
This is a forum for dogs which are lost and found and it’s important owners know what happened to them. Change will come.

Whenever I see that an elderly dog has been sent to 'rehoming centre' by Animal Wardens, I fear the worst. I sincerely hope this lovely dog has not ended up on the dissecting table at Liverpool University. See this campaign against Merseyside Dogs Home for more details. https://www.facebook.com/straydogslawuk/

Thanks Tri’s Mum and candybags. I have cross checked the markings of Colonal very similar but not him, good cross match candybags would of been amazing if it was him.

Not had any updates from the Wardens. Have done a share post on fb and shared to lots of groups around the found area, Wales and local groups. Rooting for his family to be found soon. X

GillyP you have put the postcode as L12 which is definitely not where found and L12 comes under Liverpool Wardens. Please see comments as this has been getting checked out since late last night.

Further update today. The Wardens have been informed when picked up by them found Perimeter Road L33 which is on the Border of Knowsley. Postcode will be updated to L33 as advised by Wardens. If not claimed by time I come online properly I will do a share post and make LCDH aware in case owner contacts them.

Hi it was me that found the dog on the kirkby side of the east lancs road. I drove straight to The dog barn and that was the first road name I saw. I dropped of after knocking at all farms on both sides of the roads and surrounding area. Apologies for incorrect road name. I was just too busy getting him safe to look at the road names. It was by some woods I had to drop him off at Carla Lane on my way home as I couldnt keep him as i have 4 animals already.

Have been alerted to this one and added the pic from his found post on fb the found area mentioned postcode is WA10.

This has been registered on DL but comes under LCDH going by where it was found. I’ve been in touch with AW and it will be followed up tomorrow too late to do anything now.
