- Other Info Attacked by two Lurchers by the car park at 11am. Ran off onto the Common very scared. May be injured. Nervous temperament so unlikely to come when called.

- Chewie has been found and has had the all clear from the vets which is such a relief. I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has helped and supported us during this awful ordeal. We are new to dog owning and have learnt so much throughout this process. This website was a godsend and we were amazed at how quickly the news spread and the immediate support that was offered by complete strangers as a result. The ability to share the information in the form of a poster and leaflets was incredible and so many people who weren't on social media were suddenly alerted to the fact that Chewie was missing and what he looked like as a result. there are so many people to thank, many of whom I have never met before but I really must say particular thanks to Genni Tuson who i believe is Wellow born and bred and rallied around her friends and family to search at all times of the day and night on foot and horseback! She waded into bogs and even went out in her PJ's at 2.30am looking in the ditches along the A36! We really do owe Genni a special thankyou for all that she did to help us find Chewie, you really are a very special person and Wellow is lucky to have you!! xx

- I am not local but on my FB feed there is a picture shared of a dogrunning loose scared and covered inbrambles, no harness on in Newells Lane/ West Ashling , Bosham, very similiar picture.

- Still missing. Thank you to everyone who is helping to find Chewie. He is still missing. I camped out at Canada Common car park last night in the hope that he would return to a place he knows well. Unfortunately he did not return to the car park or find his way home.
There was a report of a lady hitting something at 9pm last night along the A36 by the Monkey jump car park. Not sure if it was a dog or if it ran towards the common or into the residential area off Maurys Lane. Initial searches have not found anything but it was dark.
We live in East Wellow so if it was him he may be trying to find his way home. Please keep looking in all verges, gardens, sheds etc.
We would appreciate anyone who has the time to put up posters around the village in West and East Wellow, Plaitford, Landford…… or to put leaflets in doors.
