Good news to hear & as my late collie was terrified please advise owner to invest in tag, chip & good quality flexilead. Glenn my collie would come back to go on his if he was nervous. He was frightend of so many things but we learnt to adapt a bit as time

Brilliant to see she has been reunited with her family.  Have spoken to laylines and asked if we can still have a picture of her.  Hopefully we will get one soon, well done laylines for registering and putting Jess' details on DL.  Jan x

so pleased to see that Jess is home again !One of my dogs suffers from extreme anxiety with fireworks and It is always one of my fears that some idiot will let one off when you are out for a walk and least expect it. I totally agree fireworks are such a curse and should be banned or a compromise made that they are only allowed on the 5th November and not all the weeks around it plus New Year and any other time folk think fit to let them off willy nilly !! A chip and tag would help should this or anything similar ever happen again. Welcome home Jess and stay safe from now on x Pam

You're not wrong there, luckily enough she is back home. she's actually next doors dog and I took my three out today and saw a sign in a pub close to where he walks her, back home as if nothing has happened, thankfully. But what happens when he takes her out again?A border collie on leash all the time because of some idiots setting of fireworks...

Blasted fireworks should be banned. There is no need for them and they are a great danger to everyone. Hope Jess is not far away and is home soon. Meanwhile please inform the Dog Warden and the local rescue kennels, who you will have to check with EVERY DAY, as after 7 days, she can be re-homed if not re-claimed by her owner. Poster, poster everywhere you can and please try to get a picture of Jess to admin@doglost.co.uk so it can be added to her poster, which can be downloaded by clicking on Poster 1 above. From there you can print off as many as you like  and get her profile out there. Try to get some media coverage by asking the local radio station to broadcast her as missing. You can also put an ad in the local papaer in the lost and found pets. Good luck. Hurry home Jess. x
