Sorry, I'm really confused - I thought I rang the 0151 number above, but whatever I did, I got Animal wardens, who were their usual very helpful and kind selves x

Thanks for posting wensmum. If you rang 0161 334 0042 on the contact details that is the Animal Wardens Number, not the number on the Chip which says is not accepting calls. I have added the Animal Wardens Liverpool number which is the one normally used.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
