Romy rescue...,not type dogs to chase or call....they will often gravitate to dogs rather than humans and Marley’s soul mate Lulu is no where near ready for the outside world ...clever boy knew where to go but couldn’t get there because I caught him on scope edging towards the river ..,I met owner earlier to get her to walk with other dogs and go with her smells and lulu 😍....so team went out with her and Marley ran up to her dogs 😍

Well done Sherlock and Co, that scope was definitely a good buy, guard it with your life. It also shows the other all singing all dancing very expensive ones aren't a necessity. 😉

Yay!!....I was asked to go out with the Thermal scope so went out with DL volunteer Carol yesterday and really pleased to say Marley is home! We were out for 4hrs yesterday scoping in the fields and our efforts paid off when I caught him on scope in the field behind his home ....he was obviously trying to get back but unknown to me at the time this was at the spot his home is but the river between him and home was his obstacle! I told Pat his owner to walk her other rescue dogs on the area I scoped and Marley came running up to them!! Great team work with the girls supporting Marley hopefully they will all sign up as volunteers if not already 😍
It was great to see Marley on my Thermal scope and invaluable to help plan where to add smells/trails/bbq as well as owner/dogs walking ....it all works and I think Marley is actually more reliant and loyal to his mummy Pat and pack than perhaps other romy rescues have displayed so that’s great reassurance for Pat ....great news xx
