- One very relieved volunteer to see Frankie home after searching at the weekend and having to assist community relations due to unknown walkers with torches trespassing on land without permission .....please always ask permission and stick to public footpaths.
When we received the sighting in Mark we went down to thermal scope and sighted Frankie in the field following the owner very nervously and erratically but would not go forward. At one point she looked as if she was going to run towards him but backed away and disappeared. It was only when our team walked to investigate we saw a stock proof fence stood in her way! We set up a chicken bbq and a cam to see if it would keep her there. Next morning a farmer had sighted her along the way at the point she was originally lost and again in the morning walking along by Mark village hall. The owner was close by and Frankie this time came up to her daddy’s arms So upsetting to hear the nature of her wound but with vet attention and oodles of TLC, I hope she makes a full recovery and time to rebuild her confidence I hope the car driver comes forward and confident that our kind hearted community will help to raise the funds needed for Frankie’s treatment xx Last edited: 2019-12-06 09:55:51 - 2019-12-04 20:19 allimac

- Frankie suffered serious gashes to her flank when hit last Wednesday and due to the amount time before she was caught and taken to a vet she has had to have surgery to remove dead skin and will continue to need treatment to the wounds. She was very lucky not to have any broken bones or worse. The car driver has still not been traced and did not report the accident to the police.
Funding has been organised towards Frankie's vet treatment, the estimated cost is £1000.00.

- The best news!
Following a reported sighting earlier this morning Frankie's owner dashed to Basin Bridge where Frankie ran to him. So pleased she is now safe and back where she belongs.
Thank you so much to those who have helped with posters, searches and supporting the owner. Last edited: 2019-12-06 09:56:11 - 2019-12-02 09:06 Poochpal - Regional Co-ordinator - South West - Police Liaison Team
- Extensive search of the surrounding fields using a thermal scope has shown no positive signs of Frankie although there are many farm buildings where she could shelter.

- Sherlock is in the area this afternoon along with other DL members and a thermal scope. A landowner has reported that people were on their property very late last night with torches, please do not do so without permission, we all want Frankie found as soon as possible but with the amount of rural crime it is worrying for farmers to see torches around their property.

- Is there anyone locally who has access to a thermal camera or scope? Frankie could be hiding in a hedge near where she was hit and too frightened to come out.
If anyone can help please contact the poster number. - 2019-11-29 12:08 Poochpal - Regional Co-ordinator - South West - Police Liaison Team
- Owner has been advised to register the Romanian chip with Petlog.

PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE COMMENTING
As a lot of you know we have been searching for Frankie, the amazing community has bombarded us all with comments and private messages! This is becoming very confusing for dates and timing
We know from 5am -5pm Frankie was with numerous members of the public/ police officers/ dog wardens!
At 5:30-6:00pm Wednesday evening we have confirmed that Frankie was hit by a car at approx 50mph the car is damaged and had to be recovered (smashed headlight and bumper broken and dragged under the car!) this car is a BLUE HONDA CIVIC we are still looking to speak to the driver for information.
So please only comment or message if you have SEEN Frankie after 6pm Wednesday evening or know of anyone who drives a blue Honda Civic that may be driving in this location (east huntspill) at 5-6pm Wednesday evening! (Male driver)
Thank you for all your help and support please keep an eye out as we would still like to find frankie dead or alive
