Have put posters on Souldern notice board, in Stoke Woods and on bridlepath between Croughton andB4100. Has anyone put a poster in Buckingham pet shop? Have you searched the hedgerows around where he was last seen and his usual walking places. My spaniel cross was lost while hunting. He was found 27 hours later hung up on barbed wire. A clump of burrs had tangled his coat and caught on the wire.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you all, again, for all your kind thoughts and your unending assistance.  Wilby made the front page of the Brackley Post newspaper which reaches almost 12,000 homes.  We are told he will also feature in the Banbury Cake, but have yet to see if this comes to fruition.  However, despite the kind help, the notices and general chat about Wilby, there has been no sign.  Fingers crossed for some word soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I haven't been on this wonderful site for some time as my son was involved in a serious car crash, so I've only just become aware of Wilby. I have several relations living in Brackley, so will make them aware of him. I think my sister-in-law takes her puppy to a local dog training club, so will ask her to spread the word. Hope he's home soon xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Any news on Wilby. Did he go in the Brackley local paper???. I will have a word with a lady I know that works at Croughton base and see if she can put some posters up. Although the area has secure fencing it only takes a little hole to get through. Will let you know what she says. Annabelle    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Marcus I am so sorry to see you have lost Wilby and thankyou for registering him with us. It is vital that you poster poster poster the area he is missing in to raise as much public awareness as possible. Please email us a photo at admin@doglost.co.uk  or upload one yourself directly to Wilby's page. Once a photo is on site you can print them from the site yourself but you need to be logged  in first. Just click on 'dogs'poster' above Wilbys description. Dont forget to inform local dog wardens and vets that Wilby is missing and check all local stray kennels as although Wilby is microchipped some dogs do slip through the system and sometimes microchips are not picked up. Good luck and I hope you have some news of Wilby very soon ~ Pam   Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Marcus, could you possibly email a photo of Wilby to admin@doglost.co.uk? It will be added to his poster and you will be able to download it by clicking on Poster 1 above. Print off and distrubute everywhere in the area where he went missing, and more. Inform the dog warden ASAP and put an ad in the local paper. Get his profile out there and hopefully he will be found soon. Best wishes.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
