Still no sightings unfortunately. In January we were advised of a similar looking cat appearing just a mile or so down the road from us. We did manage to trap this cat but unfortunately it wasn't ours (it was male). Apart from this we haven't heard anything. We won't give up until we hear something!

You can borrow a cat trap form Cat Protetion or an Animal Rescue cetnre (For a small donatiin, I think) They will show you how to set it. Place inside an object with her scent on, such as her UNWASHED blanketl anything with her scent on; your scent too... I wouldn`t put any food/treats in because of other cats as you mentioned. Even if you do trap the wrong cat, just release him/her. The cat won`t come to any harm. It happened on this site when wrong cat was trapped, but was released; no harm done. Paws xd.

Thank you. Where would I get a trap from? There are a lot of cats around my area, won't I end up just catching them instead?

Thanks for update. When a cat goes awol, they are either trapped somewhere or someone is feeding them. ~You coud now try a trap. Paws xd.

No definite sightings so far. I've handed a lot of posters out to my neighbours and a couple did think they had seen Sora, but there's another cat that lives nearby that looks very similar so can't be sure. We do think that Sora is somewhere on the other side of a large wall near our house - near Morton Street and Fir Street.

Please check ALL outnuidings including empty houses , and cellars THOROUGHLY as some cats will hide in, or bnehind an object within, especially if timid. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines so they can squeeze into very snmll spaces about (Abt 3" wide 7cm) wide, so has Sora managed to climb into a partially opened window, and is now trapped? Exit maybe diffuclt as it depends upon the drop. Check trees; any deckihg too. Put some tuna, or warm chicken in her dish, and call her; night/earlkyu morning is best. Rattle sopne treats too. Place her UWASHED blanket intoi a clean contaimer, alon with your scent on Leave in thge garden in ahelterd spot, or hag on hge washihg line if dry; used towels too. Wipe her scent on all your garden fences, gates, doors too; anythinmg lrading up to the garden, Try a sueaky toy as it may attrasct ner attention. Take a good walk around the area, holding an obejct with her scent on. and rattle some Dremies. Someoene maybe feeding her (Common problem) Wheh it`s nightfall and you are searchihg use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster all around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, esoecially those with children,as they can be very observant . Post in shops; post offices too, Hand out as many posters as you can; where, and when you can, Is their a dominant cat in he area? a As soenmtimes they will chase a less dominant cat out of it`s own territory. They will only return when they think it`s "safe" enough for them to do so. But they can soemetimes become lost, and disorientted. Paws xd

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (151497)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
