Hi Jane, Have you heard anything from the police as yet? Again, if the information is sensitive please call me rather than post online. Thanks, Vicki Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Unfortunately some people don't care as much as we do Jane nor do they realise how big a part a pet plays in our lives. Keep your chin up and hopefully you will hear from the police soon xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I am changing Beth's status back to lost due to the fact that her actual status is unknown. I don't want her listed as re-united if she's still out there and people are skirting past her page thinking all is well. We could be losing valuable help. Jane - keep your chin up! With the help of the police we will get to the bottom of it. Please also refrain from using the names of the people involved on the site. The police have been informed and they will speak to the individual(s) involved. I'm at college tonight so will be unavailable until 9pm. Please feel free to call me afterwards if you would like to talk. I emailed my number to you last night. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have to agree.  This all sounds very suspicious.  Why would a friend keep such a thing from the owner and have them walking around the park shouting out the dog's name if they knew the dog was dead?  Was the "friend" who said Beth was dead the same one who had lost her?  Then a dog's body that has supposedly lain there since Sunday is moved several days later, coincidentally just before the owner goes to look there. I don't want to say anything more but Beth is of a rare breed and therefore valuable.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Im so sorry to hear this and must be even harder not knowing what has happened but please be assured the body would have been buried. Any dog/animal  found by rail workers is buried at the site found. Any collar or tag is removed to contact owners. the details for network rail are 08457 114141
You need to give Area ( line if known) or nearest station. dogs details and date- they are usually very helpful.

OMG I am horrified that someone would move her body like this without telling you. I feel so sorry about it all. You must be devastated. Have you tried the council offices to see if they have removed her or the railtrack people. There is a number you can call to find out.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Jane, now that you have uploaded the lovely recent photo we spoke about I'll now email you an A4 poster and smaller posters (had them ready just waiting for the pic), sending SCENTING instructions and some further advice.  Will also post on here the contact details again.  Do look at the other Chinese Crested dogs that have been on DL which I've mentioned to you.  You are doing a brilliant job and doing the right things, once the posters start getting circulated you will get the call we are all waiting for and see her in the BLUE.  Good luck.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

She looks such a poppet, hope she'll be home soon.   Fortunately the weather has been kind so far.   I'm too far away to help, but good luck with your search, meantime stay safe Beth, lovely girl xx  (don't worry about deleting her by mistake, I'm sure nobody will have forgotten about her, she's such a distinctive girl) Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
