So pleased Toby is home, I can now take his poster down, my granddaughter will be happy as she asks if he's been found every week xx

Vikki I`m sure that Bertie wil soon settle down again very soon. SIX MONTHS is a long time for anyone let alone a little dog. He probably thought you had abandoned him. We know that, and you know that, but he doesn`t. He will soon come around. To reinforce it place a small cloth with your scent on, and place it under his food dish. Do this by cutting up and old "T: shirt. Or use any clean cloth, and wipe it around your neck; back, and front. Last edited: 2020-06-20 11:36:38

Welcome home Toby, stay safe little man xx

So the same area - unbelievable- u think she would have seen posters etc - did she buy him from someone? Nice that she gave u her number so u can find out the story and how long she had had him for - presume she tried to change details - it’s nice for other people to get a feel for what can happen in these tragic circumstances- so glad he’s home and back where he belongs - maybe she can now adopt a doggie from a rescue centre that does all the necessary checks rather than taking a chance by buying one - how lovely for u to have him back
Vikki
Yes thank god for microchips.. And Yeah they took him to the vets up the road from me. Not sure if she lives in the area though. And I think she agreed not to sure. She gave them her number to give to us as she fell in love with him, we have contacted her and she seems really nice. X
Debbie123
Was he in the same area - did the people he was with agree to him going home - as I know the vets won’t always do that

I know this is a long way away, but a bichon has been taken to RSPCA in Frankley Green Birmingham.. very injures! Chipped but they cannot get in touch with owner. Could this be Toby I wonder? Last edited: 2019-12-20 07:37:49 by K8mitch

Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with chuldren as they can be very observant where animals are concerned. Post in shops; post offices too. Hand out as many posters as you can where, and when you can. ( When searching for Toby. take with you his UNWASHED blanket, and rattle some dog treats. When darkness falls take with you a strong torch too) As you would when searching for a missing cat) Paws xd.
