As timid she is probably trappoed somewhere. Check ALL outbuildings THOROUGHLY as some cats such as Daisy will hide in, or behind an object within, especially if timid as Daisy is. Cats are particularly attracted to sheds, as the like the smell of wood, but leave no stone unturned. When asking neioghbours to check their outbuildings make sure you are present, as cats can stay very quiet, and still. They are renowned for it, and she is a timid cat. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines so they can squeze into very small spaces (About 3' 7cm wide) So has she managed to get inro a partially opened window, and is now trapped? They can`t always exit; it depends on the drop. Check trees; any decking too. Put some tuna or chicken in her dish, and call her; night/early mornming is best. Rattle some treats too. Placr her UNWASHED blanket into a clean cotnainer, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe her scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything lerading up to the garden, Try a squeaky toy as it may attract her attention. Take a good walk arpund the area, holding an object with her scent on, and rattle some Dramies. As timid I wouldn`t think someone is feeding her, though it is a common problem. When it `s nightfall, and your are searching for her, take witrh you a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially thsoe with children,, as they can be very obserant. Post in shops; post offices too. Hand out as many posters as you can; where, and when you can. Is there a dominant cat in the area? But sometimes they will chase a less confident cat out of it`s own territory. The chased cat will only return when they think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. But sometimes they can become lost, and disorientated. Post a LOST CAT ad in National newspaper in case she has climbed into a vehicle. And when searching for Daisy, wear the same deodorant you use on a day to day bassis as she will recognize the scent. and your the one she trusts. Paws xc for the safe return of pretty Daisy.Last edited: 2019-12-09 10:04:28
