CROSS POSTED update from STAN’s fb group by Kellie O'Shea after search today:

We have worked for a couple of hours now spreading the word, searching, speaking to people and postering and leafleting.

We now have TWO reasonably reliable sightings in the same area of people walking a dog who looks very similar to Stan. This dog has not yet been ruled out as a possibility. We need more people to report sightings when they see this dog, who is walked in the area between Copplehouse Lane and Long Lane.

Police are aware and will be conducting further enquiries on the basis that we believe Stan has been picked up and/or sold on. There may be someone who perfectly innocently has bought or taken care of Stan, or who has a dog identical to him in the area but we need to know this, so if you see or know of a dog matching this description please contact us in confidence, either by telephone or by private message to me, Donna Ryan, Jan Major or Sara Lewis as soon as possible.

Thank you once again to everyone, your help is absolutely invaluable and we are overwhelmed by everyone’s kindness for little Stan x

CROSS POSTED from STAN’s fb group. If anyone is able to attend please let us know on his group:

We are organising a search for missing Stan on Sunday at 11.45 at Fazakerley Hall Recreation ground just off Bridgehouse Lane

We will have some posters and will search nearby areas and ask some streets to be postered too

Wellies / boots will be needed if searching woodland areas

Various word doc posters now done A4, 4x4, 3x3. Took 100 of each page yesterday to Karen (Owner) and 20 maps of the area showing streets. If anyone is able to do any house to house posting please let us know which roads etc so there is no duplications.

If anyone is able to help printing any posters and postering will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone for your continued support.

Karen you and the family are doing great we know how draining it can be trying to fit family and work in. Last edited: 2020-01-07 12:23:12

CROSS POSTED UPDATE from STAN’s fb group

***POSSIBLE SIGHTING OF STAN***

A dog similar to Stan has been sighted on/around The Point in West Derby. We do have further info regarding the person who had the dog. If you or someone you know has a dog who looks like Stan in the Deysbrook area, please could you message me, Donna Ryan, Sara Lewis or Jan Major ASAP so we can rule this dog out if it’s not Stan.

Information will be passed to authorities as Stan is being treated as potentially stolen, so we’d really like anyone who may know or even anyone who has seen this dog in the L12 area to get in touch in confidence please. Thank you x
