- Peesume neutered? when Indoor cat "Escape" like this they will usually feel very anxious, and scared being out of their comfort zone which is in their own homes with people they trust; their owners Check ALL outbuildings including empty houses, and cellars THOROUGHLY as sone cats will hide in or behind an object within, espeaily if timid Bear in mind too that cats have flexible spines so they can squeeze intoi very snall spaces (About 3" wide 7cm) so has he climebd into a partially opened window, and is now trapped.? Not always easy to exit; depends on the drop Leavce no stone unturned.. A door he has access to open wide, and stand aside the door, or he may see it as a "Threat" (May run off). Indoor cats will usually hide close by, or some may have adventures in a neighours garden. Put some tune/sardines or warm chicken in his dish, and place it about twice the widht of the open door. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container along with your scent too. Leave it about 2/3 metres from the open door. Poster around the area, anbd postr flyers thrpugh doors too. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant where aninmls are concerned. Consider posting a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper, in case he has climbed into a vehcile, which is probably unlikely I would think for an Inddoor cat to do. If all else fails, you could borrow a cat trap from Cat Protection, or an animal rescue centre (For a snmall donation, I think) They will show you how to set it. Paws xd.Last edited: 2019-12-14 08:36:23
