- What a rotten thing to happen, poor owners and poor Rosie. Rest in peace, little girl xx SuzyR, if you go in on Advance Search on the left and put in Bishop's name, you will get him up, he's still there. Would be so good to see him reunited with his owners. Stay safe, Bishop xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Christo, I am so sorry that you didn't get your little girl back home. Sometimes things are out of our control and that is really hard to to come to terms with. You did everything you could. God bless you Rosie. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Rosie's body was found on Mothecombe beach on Saturday. The (very upset) owner told me her collar had been changed and that she had been seen recently with a man and a child. RIP Rosie.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I forgot to say that the owners are following Sable's advice: they have contacted local police, dogs' homes etc. and left bedding out for her.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- We went out in the rain with Islander on Saturday 4/10/08 to Gorlofen which is NE of where she went missing. Followed stream down to A379 and returned via the footpath. Pheasants everywhere so plenty of food for Rosie but she would not have been out and about mid afternoon in the pouring rain. No posters at intersections of footpaths and the road... yet! Advert in Western Morning News today listing several contact numbers. I spoke to the owner this evening and will meet her soon I hope. She told me that Rosie dosen't go down holes and is very sociable. She just may have been seen going towards Brixton. Let's get this moving can we? Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Even though Rosie is due to come into season in 2 weeks, I think she will be hunting.Have you informed the Dog Warden? You can contact them by calling the local council offices. Please download and print off posters to distribute and stick up everywhere possible after clicking on Poster 1 above, and after logging in.She may be still around the area she went missing in, and the best time to go there is around dawn and dusk to look for her, as that is when she will be hunting. Dogs have been known to be hunting for weeks and more when there are so many rabbits around. Leave something with your scent on it dotted around the area with a focal point for her to return to, like her bed or your old jacket. Hope she is home soon. Good luck.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
