What fabulous news!  Gaynor you must be so relieved to have Cat back at home safe and sound.  Nice to hear the farmer was so helpful, and that all the publicity for Cat paid off.  Wonderful!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

good news!!!! Found Kat tonight, On a farm near to where she was lost. Very helpful farmer directed us with his mobile to the area she was in. Of course she ran away as soon as she saw us!!! Just as we were about to give up due to lack of light, had a call from farmhouse to say she was in the gardens. Drove into farm yard just as she came around the corner of the house. opened the passenger door from inside and she hopped in.. She is exhausted, thirsty, and has grazes and cuts on her feet and legs but nothing major. Am so relieved... Many thanks to everyone who gave messages of support and offers of help. Not sure how to move her to the found list. GaynorLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This frightened girl is going to be searching for something she recognises- now this is unfamilaiar territories for her so think maybe scent marking near the places last seen may give her a familiar smell to recognised. details emailed in case you need them.CJLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Will post a photo soon, having problems finding one of Kat. Everyone has been so kind, lots of people looking for her but miles of fields and hedges so rather like looking for a needle in a haystack.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have forwarded this to Sally Slater who has rescued greyhounds in the area.  Also posted on Sighthound Forums.  Please can someone get us a picture of Cat asap (or a similar looking Borzoi) so that local people can poster and help? Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Will there be a picture as not everyone will know this breed tor what to look out for?  This type of dog is also known as a Russian Wolfhound. Their bodies are much the same as that of a Greyhound in size and structure. This may help anyone who spots something similar.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
