- You really should have contacted the police and answered Janie jewels question posed here back in December. I think English may not be your first language. Ask someone to help if you are struggling with English.
Do as has been suggested. This will increase your chances of getting your dog back. - 2020-03-31 19:00 Nico
- Got told Nico was in a rescue shelter called Waggytails. The owner is very unreasonable not giving my dog back and I got told he has been rehomed. I am not getting any luck on where he had been rehomed. I believe dogs only get rehomed if they don’t have owners or there circumstances has changed in my case I claimed for my dog back and the owner at waggytails is so evil making me and my dog Nico suffer. I am praying 🙏 I will never give up on my dog Nico not fair how rescuer owners can treat innocent people like this. I have had Nico for 10yrars this year please help me 🙏

- Have you heard of Colin Buthcer who works as a pet detective in Surrey? Well Colin Buthcer used to work as a Detective Inspector in Surrey and has had lots of experience, and success in finding lost, and stolen dogs, in the police force as well as a pet detective. He has a Tracker dog called Molly who has also been specailly trained to find lost cats too. ( I thnik she sniffed out 70/80 cats in two years). But Colin Butchers main forte is to find missing/stolen dogs. He is wiling to travel far, and has travelled to Northants. (You are about 2 hours drive from him, I think approx? I don`t know the costs as a private agency, but he said in an interview he is willing to give advice over the phone. He does liaze with other police forces too if needed. He might be able to advise you on which avenue to go down next. Maybe worth a call?
e.mail is info@thepetdetectives.com
Phone number is 01403 753 463
They also fb. Twitter etc I believe. - 2019-12-21 22:19 Nico

- Keep makihg Nico "TOO HOT TO HANDLE" Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Post in shops; post offices too. Hand out as many posters as you can; where, and when you can. Post a STOLEN DOG ad in a National newspaper too. Nico is elderly, and needs to be honme with her family. So, if anyone has any knowledge of Nico`s whereabouts please have a heart, and contact one of the above numbers or if you prefer please contact DogLost. It will be treated in the strictest of confidence; that will be assured. And you wil be mending broken hearts. It is Christmas, and if Nico is reunited their Christmas will be very merry. THANK YOU x

- Poster poo bins, bus stops and ask friends and family to put posters in cars. Leave posters with taxi firms and put posters in red mail post boxes for postmen to take back to the sorting office. Does the micro chip company know that Nico is missing. By the way how did he go missingLast edited: 2019-12-19 22:13:39 by Nina

- Sorry to see that NICO is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (152037)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
