Brilliant news this lovely boy is called AMOS and has been reunited with the carer (owners neighbour).  Have had a telephone call from the finder, he was contacted this morning by the carer who had been in touch with the RSPCA and they passed the finders number on.  Amos was being looked after while his owners are on holiday (they are originally from Greece).  Have discussed with finder that Amos should have a collar on with carer?s contact details and owners need to update the Chip details a.s.a.p.  Finder will speak to the carer and owners when they return.   Welcome home Amos and a big THANK YOU to finder who has pulled all the stops out to find his owners and also the RSPCA well done.  Jan x

This is not the usual place for dogs from Barnsley area to go to, so owners will not automatically look to Doncaster to find him. Lets hope this little dog is home soon, understand from finder that he nearly got run over & they stopped to get him to safety.

Spoken to finder again the RSPCA have rung him back, the dog has now been taken to:   South Yorkshire Animal Rescue, Great North Road in Bawtry, will post the contact number a.s.a.p. when it is clarified exactly which kennels it is.  Finder is going to also follow up and try to find his owners.  Jan x

Have spoken to finder.  This dog has now been picked up by Sheffield RSPCA, he is CHIPPED, NEUTERED and is registered to a vet abroad, RSPCA will contact the vet on Monday.  Dog is possible Shih Tzu or Lhasa Apso cross. Thanks to the finder for looking after him and putting his details on DL, hope his owners are found soon.  Mobile phone photo just received and will upload a.s.a.p.  Jan x
