Hi. Might be an idea to also share this with WD18 helpers - assuming the canal lock being referenced is actually Croxley Green Canal lock (79) then that's right by (if not in) WD18

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.

Invest in some Adaptil or a thundershirt if your pet gets stressed easily.

Be aware fireworks are not only let off when it's dark...
