Really good that Sadie has now been reunited with her owner, and great work on the part of the finder.   I wish I could say great work by the dog warden - how many times do we have to read that contact has been made with the various authorities, only to then hear that they profess no knowledge of the fact they have been told.   It could make all the difference - and indeed in poor Delphi's case it did make all the difference.   I just wish people would do their job properly.  Welcome home Sadie xx   Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

You will all be pleased to hear that Sadie (which is her name) is now reunited with her owner who came to pick her up this morning after I put posters out round where she was lost.  Apparently she had called the dog warden but had been told nothing had been logged which is a bit frustrating since I phoned them and left all my details on Saturday night!  Anyway she is home now...so all good.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry, forgot to add - it's OX28 and not OX8, just in case that makes a difference. CarolxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Email received at HQ: The border collie is a bitch, very friendly and well seeming well socialised?gets on well with my other dogs.  I have taken her to the vet to see if she was chipped but nothing.  DW out of hours contacted last night.  She is still with me as I thought it might be slightly nicer for her than kennels at least until Monday.  I will phone round all the vets on Monday and also the Dog Warden when she is back on duty.  She has two long white socks on her front legs and her back feet have small socks.  I will try and upload a photo later.  Thanks for updating us Rosie, good luck.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
