- Delighted to read this update on Dizzy's FB group from Lost Dog Recovery UK South:
"SAFE - DIZZY a spaniel/beagle that went missing on 20th December, while being looked after by a friend in Chichester. Initial sightings were around an area just north of where he escaped, but search parties and people trying to catch her, meant she moved further north to the quieter Goodwood Estate. Cameras and traps were set up on the racecourse, and nearby woods, but although she appeared on cameras and investigated one of the traps she had no set routine and would 'disappear' for a day, presumably visiting a food source. On 27th she reappeared on cameras at the hotel and house and on her way back to the racecourse, she encountered a young family who were able to befriend her and get a lead on her <3 Dizzy was safe, her 7 day adventure over. She has lost a bit of weight but otherwise seems ok.
Special thanks to the extremely helpful Goodwood security, hotel staff, and to the local peple who took board our advice to not to go out searching."
Welcome home sweetheart.
Will update status on behalf of owner & local coordinator. - 2019-12-22 01:03 Carolynl

- Thank you for offering to help Ratel. She has been sighted around Goodwood/Halnaker but, as you know could turn up anywhere next as such a vast area. Fingers crossed for more sightings tomorrow.

- I understand the last sighting was at the Goodwood Estate.
She was staying with friends at Chichester so may well not knw the area.
I have seen a post regarding an organised search - I will try and find it and comment back here. - 2019-12-21 21:44 Nina
- Get posters up as soon as possible. I would start with the bus station and railway station and taxi firms. Put posters in red mail boxes for postmen to take back to the sorting office. Poster bus stops and poo bins. Try and put them in plastic food bags with the opening to the bottom and secure with gaffatape on legal areas.

- Where was she last seen, please? I presume she is new to the area?
