Best NOT to leave the litter tray outside only the contents, as other cats may use it, and leave their scent on it. Indoor cats that "Escape" like this will usually feel very anxious being out of their comfort zone which is in their own homes with people they trust; their owners, And they usually hide close by, or have an adventure in a neighbours garden. A door she has access to open wide, and stand aside. Don`t block her entrance or she may see it a "Threat" and run off. (Think you might grab her). Put some tuna/sardines or warm chicken in her dish, and place it about twice the width of the open door. Place her UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave it about 2 metres from the ooen door. Post flyers though doors too. Ask neighbours to check their sheds, garages etc. When searching for her, use the same deodorant you use on day to day basis as she will recognize the scent. And your the one she trusts. When searching for her at night/early morning (Best time to look) take with you a strong torch as the light will reflect cats eyes. Try a squeaky toy as it should attrct her attention. Paws xd.Last edited: 2019-12-23 07:18:04
