Devastating news from Tilley's facebook group y
"Sadly I can now confirm that Tilley has been found and was a victim of the railways. This has been confirmed by microchip scanning. Paul is devastated but all he could do was offer praise for strangers who have tried to help him since the assault occurred. He is so grateful for the support and physical help he has had from everyone.
This is obviously not the outcome anyone envisaged and we all all sad this this is the case. Thank you to everyone who gave up their time, searches, travelling the lines, worked behind the scenes, obtained us press & publicity and donated posters, we have been amazed by the supportPaul now needs time to come to terms with what has happened and start to physically recover himself. RIP Tilley, You were taken too soon and I hope karma bites back with those who hurt your dad. Sleep well beautiful boy.

EDIT: Just seen on Doglost Surrey that this is being checked with owner....Hi I shared a pup found in Mitcham to a group on Facebook. There have been comments saying that it could be Tilley. It's very difficult to tell as this photo looks to be Tilley as a puppy? The one found they say is approx 1 years of age. This is a very busy road and my best guess would be that Tilley is lying low. The owner was outside own building so has left bedding for Tilley if he makes his way back home. I will drive down the road in the early hours to see if there is any sign but will stay in the car and observe under the circumstances. I have seen no sign of him today but handed out some posters and put a few up. People I spoke to in Greenwich Park were aware Tilley was missing. I asked the petrol station in the area to put a poster and make staff aware

Karen. Tilley was seen after the mugging but could not be caught. People trying to catch Tilley just saw a dog on its own and were unaware of the owner lying unconscious nearby. Tilly was running in Trafalgar Road and seen by a chicken shop near Co-op.

Please share for Tilley he needs to be home with owner where he belongs. If you are in the area please keep looking for him and if you are able to print off a poster and put in your car window or on notice boards around the area would be a great help to raise awareness he is missing. J. x

Could the owner have been targeted for her dog or was anything else taken? The area missing from borders SE3 and SE13. Please can further alerts be sent. Does Tilly have a garden. Has some of her bedding been left in a sheltered space for her.
