Just heard that Snowy has been caught and is safe, hopefully Snowy's owner will update when she gets the chance x
DogLostOwl
Good to know. Thanks for the update.
Abe babe
Following a quiet period we've had some further sightings so we now know she's still active....phew.
Abe babe
There was a sighting in the Kedington area yesterday saying she was heading across fields to Barnadiston... which sort of ties in with the sighting at the Solar Farm nearer to Stradishall around 3.30 but she must be moving very quickly on occasions! https://www.facebook.com/groups/456890794432035/2659327277521698/?comment_id=2660730967381329&reply_comment_id=2662791227175303&notif_id=1577870972419885&notif_t=group_comment_mention
If there's anyone available to poster Kedington please help... I will go back to Stradishall today and do some.
MiaAvery
Yes we are putting out our dirty clothes we our sent on and food in our garden and leaving her access to get in. We are hoping our precious snowy makes it home for the new year. Thanks again to everyone x
Carolynl
So sorry that you didn't see Snowy 😒 Don't lose the hope, we are rooting for little Snowy to be found safe...let's hope in her vicinity there will not be so.many fireworks or best of all none...would really like a New Year reunion for you & what a Happy New Year that would be, to have her home safe...everything tightly xd

Even without a trap are you able to leave food and something with a familiar scent on it somewhere safe for her?
MiaAvery
She had gone again before we got to her hanging around for a bit. I may have to look at setting a trap. She is so timid and snarles at strangers which makes it difficult for anyone to hold her for us. She is now looking very thin I am so worried about her it’s been days without food and shelter and it’s New Year’s Eve and she terrified of fireworks 😒😒
Carolynl
I really hope this is Snowy...Birdbrook isn't a million miles away from home...Good Luck! Have everything xd for you πŸ€žπŸ™ x

Abe babe
Thank you Lukafter Urpet... family are on their way.
I have everything crossed.

Just seen a dog just like Snowy near the pub The Plough at Birdbrook five minutes ago. Stopped my car and called it but it seemed a bit aggressive and snarly so I didn't go closer. Very thin.

Shared to number of friends, family and old school pals from area. May be worth sending alerts to CO10 area too as part is on cusp of New England...with people often travelling across the postcodes. All paws & everything xd that lovely Snowy will be found safe very soon - thoughts are with owners...Please stay safe Snowy until you are found πŸ€žπŸ™

It's a shame the sighting in Wickhambrook wasn't of Snowy, was hoping the grey would be because she was grubby but that's obviously not the case! Unfortunately - and sadly πŸ˜” there are have been a number of lurchers, etc, in the local areas found loose/sighted xLast edited: 2019-12-30 15:54:45 by Carolynl
Abe babe
OP of this morning's Wickhambrook dog sighting says she doesn't think it was Snowy... she says it was definitely grey.
I suspect it's an abandoned hare courser's dog.
Abe babe
Mia I have sent you a message (text)
Abe babe
The dog was seen running (near Wickhambrook) in the Ashfield Green area CB8 8UZ towards Fullers HIll .... I don't know where Fullers Hill is so I'm not sure of direction yet. I've tried asking on OP and via messenger but have not received a reply yet.
Wickhambrook is just north of Hundon.
BTW I have posters ready and will be covering Hundon area this morning.Last edited: 2019-12-30 10:31:47 by Abe babe

Did this dog look anything like my snowy, not sure how far away this is from CO9. She is pure white and even when grubby she has oily fur so not much sticks to her. Do you have a postcode for the area we will take a drive up
Abe babe
Posted on a nearby village Fb page: "Dog seen running loose heading from Ashfield Green towards Fullers Hill 25mins ago.
Grey shaggy medium sized dog.
I did stop (on my way to work) to call the dog but he kept running."
I have commented with photo of Snowy but awaiting confirmation of whether it could be her... but we had hare coursers in the are yesterday so it could be an abandoned hound.

URGENT! HELP NEEDED HERE. Thanks
MiaAvery
Thank you for this information
Michelle
I stopped today on the roadside as I saw this dog laying in a ditch at 1pm 28/12/19 but was unable to coax it out and it bolted across fields towards back of kedington heading towards Hundon.
MiaAvery
Snowy was spotted in the Co10 area by the time we got to the area she had gone on again. The lovely man and his wife who spotted her said she looked very tired and was very scared when they tried to approach her so they called me and watched her, but by the time I got to her she moved on. Please please give me a call if you see her I will get to ASAP thanks again for all your help. Let’s get snowy home
MiaAvery
Thank you I have made contact with this lady and searching that area. Thanks for all the comments x
Abe babe
